The course objective is to study, compare, analyze and prepare Children’s literature, with the main objective being for the students to be able to produce their own literary works in English (and additionally translate them into Chinese) all while improving their English.

The course is composed of:

*Instructive lectures about literary works, how to understand them and analyze their purpose.

*Lessons in which students will only communicate in English, to better improve their non-verbal and verbal thinking without having to make a bridge between L1 and L2.

*Hands on practice on how to put together a real book, how to better utilize personal skills in a group and together be able to collaborate to present a final work to others.

*Integration of new vocabulary and through actively using it, achieve a higher level of English comprehension and use.
