Yesterday afternoon, we welcomed a group of American guests from Portland-Suzhou Sister City Association (PSSCA) to visit our campus. Under the leadership of Mrs Lynne McIntyre, President of PSSCA, the delegation paid a friendly visit to our Suzhou Early Childhood Education College. The delegates also included Mr. Robert Fraser, vice President of PSSCA, Lisa James, executive Director of LanSu Chinese Garden, and some other members. Mr. Yang, Jianliang, Principal of Suzhou Early Childhood Education College as well as Mrs Cai Hongyu, director of International Exchange Division and Mr. Fan Xiaohu, director of School Affairs Office jointly received their visit. Principal Yang made a brief introduction to the guests, involving school history, school mission, curriculum system, campus culture and more. Both sides got a very good talk and communication on early childhood education and preschool education between China and America. Afterwards, the guests walked around the campus in the company of Principal Yang. They were very impressed by the musical sounds from our students’ piano rooms and vocal training rooms. In the end, the American visitors highly recognized and appreciated the characteristics of our college as well as our contributions to the development of early childhood education in the region.
