‘Me and my country cannot be separated even for a while, no matter where I go, a paean flows in my heart…’ As May 4^th 2019 marks the 100^th anniversary of the May 4^th Movement, a flash mob themed ‘Eulogize the motherland, Praise the new era’ was held by our school. The teachers and students have travelled from Suzhou Education Museum to Jinji Lake and Suzhou Center through Panmen Gate Park, Suzhou City Moat and Midu Bridge, and performed singing and dancing ‘Me and My Country’ and ‘Praise the New Era’ for the beautiful city which embraces both ancient and modern Chinese civilization. The performance has presented teenagers’ patriotism and beauty in youth to the whole world.

Stopping at their first station-Suzhou Education Museum, the performers learnt more about Suzhou’s education history & tradition and reaffirmed their faith in being a better teacher.

At the second stop-Panmen Gate Park, which features profound civilization and watertown characteristics, teachers and students sent their eulogy to our motherland in their own way and experienced the fusion of history and present,historical thickness and youthful spirit. 

The Future is Present, the Dream is to be Chased

Here at Jinji lakeside, which is the 3^rd stop, performers were soaked in the modern atmosphere and offered a visual feast with their youth and vitality.

This year marks not only the 100th anniversary of the May 4th Movement, but also the 70th anniversary of our great country. With ancient and present Suzhou fusing together and the pursuit to education being emphasized, the theme flash mob presented teenagers’ patriotism and faith, and played an important role in helping normal school students to grow into preschool teachers who are going to be equipped with good occupational ethics and qualified talents.
