Provincial Experts Came to Our School to Research on International Students Program
Being delegated by Jiangsu Education Department International Cooperation and Exchange Office, experts from Jiangsu Association for International Education paid a visit to our school on the afternoon of 5th, March, 2019. Under the leadership of its vice president Mr. Yu Xiaonan and being accompanied by Mr. Zhang Guanglei, vice dean of College of International Students from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, Mr. Zhengyu, vice dean of College of International Students from Nanjing Medical University, and Mr. Wangyang from College of International Students, Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology , they carried out a research & evaluation on our school’s condition and capability in international students education.
The evaluation conference was attended by Mr. Gu Naixiao, deputy director of Supervision and Guidance Office, Suzhou Municipal Government, Ms Wangjingzhi, vice director of International Cooperation and Exchange Division, Suzhou Municipal Education Bureau, and leaders from our school including Principal Yang Jianliang, Vice Principal Tao Huashan, Director Yuan Yuming from Logistics and Security Division, Director Cai Hongyu from International Exchange Division, Director Fan Xiaohu from School Affairs Office and Vice Director Yangli from Preschool Pedagogy Ⅱ.
Before the conference, the delegation followed Principal Yang to visit training classroom, performance hall, art department area and the whole campus which features south China riverside town. After the campus tour, Principal Yang presented a comprehensive introduction to the delegation about our school, as well as the background of South Africa program and other programs. On behalf of Suzhou Education Department, deputy director Gu Naixiao sent their great concern and support towards our foreign students education program.
Through inquiry and document check, the delegation carried out detailed research on our foreign students education program in terms of students admission management, entry procedures, teaching management, students management and logistics support. In spite of acknowledging our school’s efforts on the program, provincial leaders and experts also imparted professional instructions, hoping that we can, taking this program as a starting point, set international students education as a vision for international exchange and school development. With ‘students-centered’ as our management principle, we are expected to do a good job in students admission, institution setting, curriculum planning and assimilation management, which will enable the program to take its root and blossom!
