George Brown China AGM Gala Participants Visited Our School
On the morning of November 27, a group of more than 30 Chinese and foreign delegates from George Brown China AGM Gala, visited our school under the leadership of Dr. Cory Ross, Vice President of George Brown College, Mr. Jose Balcaceres, Director of International Center, and Mr Liang Wu, Director of Asian Region of International Center🧑🦲, accompanied by Ms Patricia Chorney, head of Preschool Education at George Brown College, and Mr Nelson Hillier, head of kindergarten affiliated to George Brown College.
Mr. Tao Huashan, Vice Principal of the school and Mrs Cai Hongyu, Director of the international exchange division participated in the interview and escort. As soon as the guests entered the school gate, they were welcomed by our students, simple but warm. Originally, these students were students who attended George Brown summer school in Toronto this summer. They expressed their joy to the guests and friends coming from afar in their own way. The leaders of George Brown took pictures with them one after another. With great interests, the guests visited the campus with the characteristics of modern Suzhou Waterfront, libraries, training buildings, professional classrooms of the Department of Art, performance centers. Stopped in the corridor painting exhibition area, the electric piano classroom, the vocal music classroom and the dance classroom, the guests appreciated the teachers' teaching, not willing to leave.
In the modern audio-visual classroom the guests learned about the school's educational history, curriculum construction, personnel training, humanistic literacy and other aspects. The guests were amazed by the educational mode of practical orientation and the measures taken in the cultivation of students' artistic accomplishment as an early childhood normal school. They highly complimented it and hoped for better cooperation and exchanges in the future.
